My Story:

Summer 2021- The beginning of my K-drama Era:

After finishing my university exams (and let’s just say, I smashed them!), my siblings were watching a K-drama and asked if I wanted to join. At first, I was skeptical—“It’s just a K-drama, not my thing at all.”

 

Ha! I was so wrong.

 

That show was Vincenzo, and the moment I pressed play, there was no turning back. That was the start of my K-drama obsession, and since then, I’ve never looked back!

 

January 2024- From fan to Reviewer:

One thing you should know about me—I cannot start a show without knowing EVERYTHING that happens first. But finding spoilers and honest reviews for K-dramas was surprisingly difficult. Every time I finished a drama, my siblings became my personal audience (how lucky, right?), listening to my rants, raves, and deep analysis about every plot twist and character arc.

That’s when it hit me: Instead of just sharing my thoughts with my siblings, why not share them with everyone? And so, My K Delulu was born! 

​

To make it even more me, I started doodling, and all the drawings you see on this website are done by yours truly!​

May 2024- A Turning Point

Whilst watching Doctor Slump, I resonated a lot with the characters-especially Nam Ha-neul, played by Park Shin-Hye. I truly believe we don't choose the K-dramas; the K-dramas choose us.

Some of the dialogues really made me stop and reflect. They helped me process my own thoughts, emotions, and struggles in ways I didn’t expect. That’s when I realised—K-dramas don’t just entertain us; they can help us heal, cope, and see life from new perspectives.

​

That’s how Delulu Thoughts was born. I wanted a space where I could analyse and express my thoughts, hoping that my reflections could resonate with others who might be going through similar experiences.

​

I'm so glad I watched Doctor Slump, because, for the first time in a while, I felt at peace. It made me reflect on what truly made me happy. And that's when I decided to fully commit to this website- whenever I had the time, I would build this space just for us K-drama lovers.
